What is CACFP?
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) provides reimbursement for nutritious meals and snacks to registered child care providers. In-home childcare providers living in Cherokee, Ida, Lyon, Osceola, Plymouth, Sioux, and Woodbury County that are currently registered with the Department of Human Services are eligible to participate in this program and will also receive nutrition education. Funding for this program is from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. We work with over 70 in-home daycare providers serving more than 800 children annually.
