  • Early Childhood Center Manager

    Responsible and accountable for establishing quality early childhood environments that promote creativity, spontaneity, safety and over all early childhood best practice in the delivery of comprehensive preschool services. Ensures that the curriculum and care offered is consistent with Head Start regulations and policy as well as state licensing requirements. Provides supervision and support to classroom teaching staff to ensure that every child’s individual needs are addressed allowing them to develop cognitively, socially and physically.   • Payroll Accounting Specialist

    Assist with all of the Agency’s computerized fiscal operations, including but not limited to payroll, accounts receivable and payable, ledger postings, monthly and quarterly reports and bank reconciliation’s in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with state and federal requirements and with generally acceptable accounting principles and standards.  Responsible for all fiscal payroll duties.  To learn more about this position and to apply, click here.

  • Licensed Teacher Head Start

    Community Action Agency of Siouxland is committed to providing high quality services to families and ensuring school readiness for all enrolled children. This position must provide high-quality early education and child development services for enrolled children, including for children with disabilities that promote children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth for later success in school.  Individuals must serve as an effective role model and possess high quality standards.   • Classroom Aide

  • Food Aide

    Community Action Agency of Siouxland is committed to providing high quality services to families and ensuring school readiness for all enrolled children.  This position is responsible for ensuring that three meals (breakfast, lunch and PM snack) are prepared and served each day in the preschool classroom(s).  Individuals must maintain accurate records and ongoing compliance with Head Start and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) regulations.  Individuals must also serve as an effective role model and maintain positive interactions with children throughout the classroom day.  To learn more about this position and to apply, click here.

  • FaDSS Specialist

    Responsible for carrying out the duties as outlined in the Family Development Self-Sufficiency (FaDSS) grant.  Establish, using various program disciplines, techniques and resources, a climate within a welfare dependent family which lends itself to greater self-esteem, self-determination, enhanced coping skills, and vocational skills improvement leading to self-sufficiency.  Conduct home visits to assess family needs.   • Early Head Start Home Visitor
