Baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education or Elementary education, with experience teaching preschool-age children and Iowa teaching license with an early childhood endorsement (a Class B license will be required if staff member is working on acquiring the early childhood endorsement).Hourly: $24.61

Early Childhood Coach
Community Action Agency of Siouxland is committed to establishing itself as a leader in classroom and home visitation achievement. This position requires a success driven person that will be responsible for improving the overall performance of staff by establishing coaching partnerships with classroom teams and/or Home Visitors that promote early childhood best practices, curriculum implementation and effective teacher-child interactions. Success in this position will be directly measured by the achievement of overall classroom and home visit performance increases. Responsible for tracking, monitoring and securing training/technical assistance, resources and materials for staff in order to increase job skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
Hourly: $22.32

FaDSS Specialist - Home Visitor
Responsible for carrying out the duties as outlined in the Family Development Self-Sufficiency (FaDSS) grant. Establish, using various program disciplines, techniques and resources, a climate within a welfare dependent family which lends itself to greater self-esteem, self-determination, enhanced coping skills, and vocational skills improvement leading to self-sufficiency. Conduct home visits to assess family needs.
Hourly: $15.89 - $18.22 DOQ

Family Advocate
Utilize parent and family engagement strategies and program services to support family well-being and promote children’s learning and development. Collaborate with families through a family partnership process to help achieve identified family outcomes. Communicate with parents about their child’s health needs in a timely and effective manner. Provide families through home visits and other means, knowledge of and access to community resources designed to assist them in attaining self-sufficiency.

Executive Secretary
Responsible and accountable for the effective and orderly conduct of the supportive administrative activities of the Executive Director’s office. Is highly organized and efficient, making responsible decisions in accordance with established policy, and have ability to exercise considerable judgment and independent action. Must have strong allegiance to Executive Director, and able to keep confidential all knowledge of agency, board and personnel matters.
