Weatherization Energy Auditor
Conduct energy audits to identify energy-saving opportunities on residential dwellings in Woodbury and Monona Counties. Complete required paper and computerized reports. Generate bids to be submitted to local contractors.
Possess a high school diploma and knowledge of residential construction with an emphasis on structural components and HVAC equipment. It is helpful to have experience in housing or construction related fields. Must have a valid driver’s license. Paid training is provided.
This is an entry level position. Promotional opportunity once certified (potentially 18-24 months).

Exceptional writing skills, creative intelligence, critical thinking, computer literacy. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Knowledge of mission, goals and objectives. Possess organizational skills and ability to prioritize. Must have access to transportation. Bachelor’s degree; two years of experience in program planning, administrative support, community assessment, organizational development preferred and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
